For teachers

SURE listens to the lesson you choose, then gives you:

  • One thing to try
  • A coach that heard it
  • Your control
  • Growth

SURE is unlocked by your school. You’ll need access purchased by your school administrator before you can use the app. If your school isn’t set up yet, ask your leadership to request a pilot.

How it works

From one lesson to a compounding loop.

Step 01

You tap start
on a lesson

An ordinary lesson, on your own phone. No camera crew, no lesson staged for a visitor. Just your phone on the desk.

Step 02

SURE
listens

Your lesson is read against CPAT's 25 sub-domains, the same instrument the research runs on. Your students are never identified, and their voices stay masked.

Step 03

One thing
comes back

Your private report names what worked, the moments it showed up in, and one specific change to try, the way a good coach ends a debrief.

Step 04

Your pattern
emerges

Across lessons you watch your own practice move: what is lifting, what needs another pass. Never a ranking, never a rating of you.

Then it repeats. Your next lesson tells you whether the one thing landed. That is the loop observation never closed.

Growth milestones

A path you can see, not a rank assigned to you.

  1. 01

    Foundational Explorer

You know your room and you can name what happened in it. The first lessons set your baseline.

  2. 02

    Active Builder

You try one thing at a time and keep what works. The next lesson shows whether it landed.

  3. 03

    Skilled Practitioner

Questioning, checks for understanding and participation hold up across lessons, not just on a good day.

  4. 04

    Advanced Specialist

Your practice is consistent enough to lean on. Strengths show up as patterns other teachers can learn from.

  5. 05

    Visionary Leader

You shape how teaching grows around you. The signals you built are now the ones you coach others toward.

Trust

Rules that make recording feel safe.

SURE only works if you record willingly. Every rule here exists to protect that.

You own your report

Your Class Insight Report reaches you and no one else. Your school sees patterns across staff, never your individual report, unless you choose to share it.

Never a ranking

Nothing here becomes a score against colleagues. No leaderboards, no per-teacher numbers, no league tables.

Your students are not the subject

Student data is never captured and is always masked. The recording is there to hear your teaching, not the children in your room.

Nothing beyond the recording

You start every recording. If something wasn't in it, you're never asked to supply it. No forms, no self-reports, no uploads.

Privacy law came first

Recording and retention were designed around GDPR, FERPA and the equivalent laws wherever you teach, built in from the start and never retrofitted.

Sharing is your call

The sharing control is yours. Show a report to a coach or department lead when you want a second pair of eyes, and keep it private when you don't.

Early-access voices

Coaching that finally feels like trust.

One tap after a lesson and I get my One Thing. No forms, no waiting for an annual review. It's the first coaching that actually fits my week.
Marcus B.Secondary Teacher
I stopped bracing for observation. The report is mine, the detail stays with me, and what I share is my call. That changed how I feel about being heard.
Priya N.Head of English, Secondary
Knowing my students are never part of the data, and the audio is only ever a recording I choose to make, made this an easy yes for me.
Hana S.Grade 5 Teacher

Real teachers, real words. We keep their names the way we keep their reports. Private.
